  • Description

    Normal polarity flange diode. Low static losses. Industry standard housing. Tjmax = 190°C.

  • Applications

    This type of diodes is designed for electrical and radioelectronic devices in AC and DC circuits at industry-standard or increased frequency up to 500 Hz. Mainly they are normal polarity devices, where anode is their copper base and cathode is their flexible lead. Less common are reverse polarity devices identified by (Х) on their housing, where anode is the flexible lead and cathode is the copper base. One of main features of stud diodes aside from their sealed housing is ability to use them without predefined external pressure force, since it is achieved by the diode design itself. Flanged diodes are mainly used in rotating structures.
